A catch-all mailbox receives messages sent to inactive email addresses under the exact same domain. For example, an email sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can get messages from pals or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some moment you may begin receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be re-sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

In case you have a shared hosting with our company and you want to enable the catch-all option for a particular mailbox that you’ve got in your account, it will take literally only one single click in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel to accomplish that. A catch-all button is available on the right side of each email address that you have set up under any domain registered in your account. You can choose one single address per domain name by clicking on the corresponding button. This will enable the feature instantaneously, so all emails sent to mistyped addresses will be delivered there. Clicking on the button again will deactivate the catch-all feature. In case you have active email forwarding, our system will exhibit a cautionary notification and you will not be able to enable the catch-all feature until you remove the forwarding or you can simply select a different mailbox to be the catch-all one.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all functionality can be enabled without effort in case you have a semi-dedicated server account with us. All the email addresses that you’ve created using the domain names hosted in the account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will notice a small logo handily situated right next to each of them. With only one click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice as long as there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with the option already activated and there isn't activated email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on an email address and enable this feature through the contextual menu that will surface. In case any of the conditions for configuring a catch-all mailbox is not satisfied, our system will inform you, but will not disable or replace anything automatically.
