Spam Filters in Shared Hosting
If you get a shared hosting package from us and if you take advantage of our email services, you’ll be able to enable spam filtering for any of the mailboxes that you set up from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With only a couple of mouse clicks, you can select between 5 different levels of security. If you start getting spam, you can begin with the lowest one and then slowly raise the level until you stop getting spam. We rely on one of the best and most famous email filters available on the market called SpamAssassin. It ‘scans’ the header section and the body of every email that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either erases a particular message or permits it to enter your mailbox. Hepsia will also permit you to set up custom email filters and either delete undesired email messages or re-send them to a third-party email address such as spam@domain.com where you can read them once more at a later point in time.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you use one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting services, you will not have to worry about unsolicited bulk email messages filling up your mailboxes all the time, as you can resort to the famous SpamAssassin filter that we provide with every semi-dedicated hosting account. Our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with several clicks and you can select one of the five levels of safety – from very low to very high. The level can be altered at any time if, for example, authentic email messages get filtered, or if junk messages go through and appear in your inbox. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered email messages to be re-sent to a special mailbox such as spam@your-domain.com and not to be deleted. In this way, you can check them every now and then to make sure that you haven’t omitted an authentic email message.
